Disputes involving professionals may take many forms, including malpractice claims. When a complaint against a health care provider is involved, legal reporting requirements may complicate the negotiations. Practice also included representation of health professionals, such as doctors and oral surgeons, in challenges to hospital peer review proceedings. Received referrals from the California Medical Association.

Prevailing appellate counsel in Ninth Circuit case, Conestoga Services Corp. v. Executive Risk Indemnity Inc. (9th Cir. 2002) 312 Fed. 3d 976 [dealing with causation in an E & O policy].
