Having a spiritual consulting practice in addition to my regular mediation practice, I write with admiration and agreement. A safe space for others begins inside.

Yes, mediation and spirituality are really linked… As you say, safety must exist on all levels… At least ideally…

    Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for this blog, very relevant…. I wrote about my experience of being seduced by a teacher in my book, Wired for God, Adventures of a Jewish Yogi. It took three years of deep work with compassionate and nonjudgmental therapists to repair the damage in my heart and being. There should be more of us talking about these concepts within spiritual groups.

Thank you for connecting Dani. I am very touched by your sharing and look forward to reading your book. I am also encouraged a bit, because I have been also thinking of having a community telephone meeting about these important subjects. I am sure you would have a lot to contribute, and hope if we go forward with that you would be willing to do so. I will be in touch when plans look more concrete. Many blessings… E
